Written Communication Effects

Could anyone live in this current world without using written communication? In fact, all people at this time have devices to communicate with others by using the written communication such as email, phone text messaging and instant messaging. Written communication is spread in the whole world. In addition, written communication is getting improved every year. People try to communicate with other people by using written communication because it is the fastest way to respond. However, using written communication has positive and negative effects.

First of all, using written communication can be a really good advantage that makes us communicated quickly. Written communication is really useful in emergency situations. For example, we can save injured people from death by texting the ambulance immediately. Furthermore, people at this time, do not have to pay or travel to communicate with other people who are in other countries. For instance, we can contact anyone in the whole world so fast for free by using email. Written communication is very useful way to connect with others very quickly.

Second, written communication makes the connection with other language speakers easier than talking in person. For example, when people contact other language speakers, they can use a translator. On the other hand, people will face a difficult time to understand different language speakers when they talk in person. As a result, using written communication is common among companies that are in different countries and different languages.  It is easier if we use email or phone text messaging in this case.

Despite the advantages to increasing written communication, there are some disadvantages. There is no doubt that using phones, laptops and other devices may cause physical harm. According to ophthalmologists, looking at device screens for a long period can be an immediate cause of having a visual impairment. In addition, any device has radiation that can impact our brains negatively.  Additionally, people will start getting addicted if they spend all the time using these devices because they will adapt themselves to it. Finally, we have got to cut down on using devices and make our life healthier.

Written communication has really good advantages and disadvantages. Our time and money are saved while we are exploiting the written communication in a useful way.  It helps us with contacting any language speaker. However, it could affect on us negatively if we use it excessively. Written communication has made the connection with people easy and simple.
